Spring Mill State Park is one of Indiana’s most distinctive parks, combining rugged limestone terrain, historic village preservation, and underground cave features. Spring Mill offers a network of hiking trails that wind through forested hills and past cave entrances, sinkholes, and scenic overlooks. Recreation

History

The park preserves the Pioneer Village at Spring Mill, a restored 19th-century settlement that demonstrates early Indiana life. Established as a state park in 1927, Spring Mill has long been valued for both its natural features and its cultural heritage.
